For Immediate Release Contact: CMS Mid-Atlantic Rewards Flame Keepers CMS Mid-Atlantic, Inc., the company that provides financial, marketing and consulting services as well as business development processes to the cemetery industry throughout New Jersey and New York, uses a flame as its logo because the eternal flame is symbolic of honor and remembrance. Each month, CMS recognizes a “flame keeper,” a family service counselor at one of its six affiliated cemeteries and memorial parks who provides families with a high level of service to keep their loved ones memories alive. “It is usually very difficult to identify just one person among the many who excel at our properties each month who goes above and beyond expectations to provide the families with a high level of service and care,” said Bernard Stoecklein, president and CEO of CMS Mid-Atlantic. “It takes a very special type of person to dedicate themselves to helping people preplan their burial or to help families make arrangements at the time of immediate need for a loved one at one of the saddest times of their lives. CMS is very fortunate to have a staff that truly focuses on the families’ needs and helps guide them through the process.” Mr. Stoecklein equates CMS’ stellar family service counselors to flame keepers because they are trusted with helping to keep a person’s eternal memories bright similar to how a flame keeper maintains a fire.
